India went ahead 2-0 against the visiting Aussies after there was a barrage of hard hitting by the Indian batsmen especially Shubhman Gill and the comeback man Shreyas Iyer, both of them who hit centuries on a rather smallish Ahilya Bai Holkar stadium at Indore. SKY Suryakumar Yadav also came in the fray after hitting a strokeful fifty India beat Australia by 99 runs in the rain-interrupted second ODI to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series here on Sunday.  KL Rahul made 52 off 38 balls, Ishan Kishan contributed an 18-ball 31, while Suryakumar Yadav needed just 37 balls to score 72 after reaching his half-century in 24 deliveries. Set a revised target of 317 in 33 overs after the day's second rain interruption, Australia were all out for 217 in 28.2 overs. India set up a target of 400 which was Indias highest total in an ODI against Aussies. ,The Australians gave their wickets rather easily to R.Ashwin who scalped 3 wickets as did Ravindra Jadeja while Prasidh Krishna took one wicket.The third and final ODI is at Rajkot on  Tuesday.
