RAIN SPOILS WARM UP GAMES IN  ICC ODI WORLD CUP IN INDIA!

Incessant rains spoiled Indias warm up game against the defending champions England at Guwahati. Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bat first but then torrential rains lashed the stadium and the match was abandoned without a ball being bowled. At Thiruventapuram it was the same story as much of the match was abandoned after a set target of 165 by the powerful Aussies against the spirited Netherlands but Netherlands were saved the blushes as they lost six quick wickets including a hat trick by speedster Mitchell Starc but soon the match was abandoned due to rain. At Hyderabad The New Zealanders defeated the Pakistanis  by five wickets  after Mohammed Rizwan scored a belligerant century and captain Babar Azam scored a strokeful eighty  and Rachin Ravindra scored a masterful 97 and two fifties by captain Kane Wiliamson and Darryl Mitchell  and Bangladesh beat the much fancied Srilanka.by seven wickets as Sri Lanka reached  with good scores by Nissanka, Perera,to 263 but Bangladesh reached the target easily with good scores by Liton Das,  Tanzid and Meraz.
