Rohan Bopanna Matthew Ebden crash to a defeat in the US OPEN MENS DOUBLES FINAL against  Rajeev Ram  and Joe Salisbury in the US Open 2023!

Indian nonagenerian 41 year old from Coorg  Rohan Bopanna, and Aussie Matthew Ebden , the 6 th seeds crashed to a defeat in the US Open 2023 men's doubles final aganst  3 seed Rajeev Ram from the US   and Joe Salisbury, from UK  at the Flushing Meadows in New York. The Indian-Aussie pair won the first set 6-2 after some brilliant tennis. But Ram-Salisbury staged a comeback and won the second set 6-3. Then in the decider, which was nervy towards the end, Ram and Salisbury ended sealing a 2-6 6-3 6-4 victory to clinch the Grand Slam title.The Indian great Bopanna played some great tennis and showed some great sportsman spirit when a passing shot was supposed to give them a point at a crucial stage of the match ,Rohan surrendered the point after conceding that it had touched his body. It was Rohan Bopannas last attempt at the Grand Slam final and he came up showing great fortitude! Some  player is Bopanna!
